Tour Operator Information

The National Purple Heart Hall of Honor's project, called the Roll of Honor, is a work in progress. Eventually, it will be a comprehensive database of Purple Heart recipients that will preserve their stories and honor their sacrifices.

With over 1.7 million recipients of the Purple Heart, the Roll of Honor will take considerable amount of time to compile, and we are relying on people to enroll themselves or family members and furnish the necessary documentation of their awards.

If you are planning a visit to the Hall of Honor, your group may include Purple Heart recipients or the relatives, friends, or former comrades of recipients. We are happy to furnish you with enrollment materials in advance or your visit (by request) or on the day of your visit.

Please help us avoid potential disappointment on the part of visitors by explaining to your group in advance that enrollments cannot be created immediately, the day of a visit. Purple Heart recipients who have not previously submitted their enrollment materials, and who have not been notified by our staff that they are enrolled, are unlikely to find themselves listed in the database.

If you know that, a member of your group has submitted enrollment materials previously, please have the person contact us at least two weeks in advance of the visit so that we can ensure that s/he has been enrolled.

Thank you for planning a visit here and for helping us make the visitor experience as enjoyable as possible. We look forward to your visit!
