Private First Class Abrahamson, a radio operator was wounded by machine gun fire, later killed by artillery or mortar fire at Steinwald Woods. He was initially buried at Epinal American Cemetery in France and was later transferred to Fort Snelling National Cemetery in Minneapolis, Minnesota where he now rests.
